Fiorenzo Ends Season in Semi-Finals
4/21/12 – Crimson Wave men’s bowler Anthony Fiorenzo ended his season today in the USBC ISC Semi-Finals in a loss to Wichita State’s Geoffrey Young in a single game match.
Fiorenzo came out strong with back to back strikes taking an early lead over Young. Fiorenzo soon lost his rhythm and left the third and fourth frames open. Young spared both frames to even out the contest. Fiorenzo then closed his next two frames but never caught the same rhythm as the first two frames. Young put strikes in the next four frames and took the lead from Fiorenzo. After a double strike in the 10th from Young, Fiorenzo’s season came to an end with a 240-192 loss.
Fiorenzo is the only Crimson Wave bowler to make it to the USBC ISC semi-finals.
Bowling Ends Season at USBC ITC
4/20/12 – Crimson Wave bowling teams both ended their season today at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, NE.
On the women’s side the Crimson Wave came out strong taking a first round win over perennial powerhouse Pikeville University. The Crimson Wave dispatched Pikeville in six games with their largest win coming in game six 229-180. CCSJ then saw McKendree College in round two. The Crimson Wave took game one 222-210 before losing the next four straight but not without a fight as they put up a 253 in game five. McKendree tallied a 268 to take the series win and send the Crimson Wave to the losers side of the bracket.
On Friday morning the Crimson Wave matched up Stephen F. Austin University. CCSJ quickly found themselves down 3-0 in the series. The Crimson Wave fought their way back bringing the series to 3-2 before losing in game six. The loss ended the Crimson Wave’s run at the 2012 USBC ITC.
On the men’s side CCSJ faced Morehead State University in round. The Crimson Wave opened the series with a game one win before dropping the next two games. CCSJ took games four and five before giving Morehead games six and seven and the victory. After being sent to the loser’s side of the bracket Calumet faced RIT. The Crimson Wave grabbed a 2-1 series lead after a game three win. Giving RIT games four and six the series tied at three. Game seven came down to the 10th frame and the Crimson Wave narrowly took the win 226-223.
In round three Friday morning CCSJ saw St Ambrose University. After losing the first two games of the series the teams traded wins in games three and four. With a 3-2 series deficit the Crimson Wave did all they could to hold on but fell short ending their season to St. Ambrose 4-2 and their run a the 2012 USBC ITC title.
Fiorenzo Advances to Semi-Finals
4/17/12 – Crimson Wave men’s bowler Anthony Fiorenzo has advanced to the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship Semi-Finals today in a close victory.
In round one the Fiorenzo took a narrow win over Aaron Morgan of Toledo University. Fiorenzo came up short in game one 249-228. In game two Fiorenzo crushed Morgan 265-202. Fiorenzo entered game three with a 493-451. Anthony took a 216-191 loss in the third but advanced on total pin fall for a 684-667 win.
Round two brought an easy win for Fiorenzo as he defeated Blake Paris 637-563. Anthony took a 237-225 loss in game one. In game two he blew the doors open with a 213-156 win and then sealed the victory in game three with a 199-170 win to advance to the third round.
In the third round Fiorenzo was matched up against Weber International University’s star and last year’s ITC’s MVP Marcelo Suartz. In game one both bowlers struck the first seven frames each. After a frame by frame fight Suartz pulled ahead in the 10th frame by two pins for a 259-257 win. Fiorenzo came back strong in game two. Similar to game one it came down to the 10th frame again, this time Fiorenzo took a 12 pin lead and a 196-184 win giving him a 10 pin overall lead in the series 453-443. The third game of the series was the most intense. The game was neck and neck through the first 9 frames. Suartz took the lead heading into the 10th. Fiorenzo was forced to have to double strike and grab at least five pins on the third. Fiorenzo stepped up and struck all three for the win and spot in the final four.
The USBC ISC semi-finals will take place Saturday morning.
Bowling Finishes 2nd at NAIA Invite
4/1/12 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team finished 2nd overall this weekend at the NAIA Bowing Invitational held at the Western Bowling in Indianapolis, IN.
The Crimson Wave qualified for bracket play in fifth place and received a first round bye. CCSJ continued in the winner’s side of the bracket beating Cumberland College in the second round 3-0.
In round three the men faced the number four seed William Penn University. The Crimson Wave swept William Penn 3-0 taking over the top seed in their side of the bracket and moving on to face Clarke University.
CCSJ went down 2-1 to Clarke. After two straight wins over Clarke the Crimson Wave took a 3-2 victory to face Webber International in the semi-finals. The Crimson Wave took a 3-2 loss to Webber and moved to the bottom side of the brackets where they faced Midland College for a chance to work their way back to the finals. Calumet came out on fire and swept the 3rd ranked Midland to face Webber in the finals. Due to the double elimination format the Crimson Wave had to beat Webber twice in the finals to take the championship.
The Crimson Wave were defeated in game one of the finals 224-202. In game two the Crimson Wave led into the 10th frame. After a conversion by the Webber anchor the Crimson Wave lost 187-185. Webber took the third game giving CCSJ a 2nd place finish.
Toby Kraus was named NAIA First Team All-American and teammate Mitchell Katic was named NAIA Second Team All-American.
The Crimson Wave will take the next three weeks to prepare for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships in Lincoln, NE April 16-22.
Men and Women Qualify for Nationals
3/11/12 – The Crimson Wave men and women’s bowling teams have qualified for the 2012 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) in Lincoln, NE April 19-21.
The Crimson Wave women finished in 2nd place overall to secure their bid to the 2012 ITC. The ladies finished day one in second place after 32 baker games grabbing 5, 976 pins just 41 pins out of first. The ladies came out on day two rolling strong. The ladies battled to hold their place. After catching a small slump in the final games first 16 baker games CCSJ found themselves in fourth place. Calumet worked hard to get back on track and in the final two baker games with Robert Morris and William Penn just ahead the ladies rolled a 227 and 233 to secure a second place finish.
The Crimson Wave men came out strong on day one holding onto the lead most of the day. The men finished day one’s 32 baker games in second place. The Crimson Wave come out today strong keeping themselves in the top four for a bid to the ITC. The men finished 4th overall 12,651 overall less than 100 pins behind third place.
This is the sixth straight season the Crimson Wave men have qualified for the ITC and the third time in program history for the ladies.
Two Crimson Wave Bowlers Qualify for Nationals
3/9/12 - The Crimson Wave men and women’s bowling teams each have a USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship qualifier. Both bowlers qualified today at the USBC Intercollegiate Sectionals in Fairview Heights, IL.
On the men’s side freshman Anthony Fiorenzo shot a 1327 with a 221 average to finish 3rd overall out of a 162 competitors. Fiorenzo is the first Crimson Wave men’s freshman bowler to qualify for the singles championships.
For the women, freshman Amanda Dodd, also took 3rd place. Dodd shot a 1270 averaging 211 for the day. Dodd’s third place finish was out of 137 bowlers.
Dodd and Fiorenzo will compete in the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska April 17th and 18th.
USBC Selection Show
2/22/12 – The USBC Sectional Selection will be broadcast live today at 3:00 pm. The selection show will determine the destination of the Crimson Wave bowling teams for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Sectionals. The sectional is the qualifier for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships. The sectionals are located in Allentown, PA, Smyrna, TN, Fairview Heights, IL, and Euless, TX. The top four teams from each sectional move on to the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.

Men’s Bowling Competes at Hoosier Classic
2/18/12 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team competed in the Hoosier Classic this weekend in Indianapolis, IN.
The Crimson Wave qualified for bracket play in the 8th position. After a quick sweep of Morehead State University the men took on Wichita State University. After losing the first two games of the match the Crimson Wave came back and crushed Wichita in the third game bowling one of their best games of the season. The men would take Wichita in game four only to be defeated in game five for a top 8 finish.
The Crimson Wave will travel back to Indianapolis for the NAIA Invitational in two weeks.
Men’s Bowling Competes at McKendree
2/5/12 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team competed at the McKendree Baker Challenge this weekend. The Crimson Wave men just missed match play despite a 9th place finish with the Crimson Wave B team winning the B division.
The Crimson Wave B team found themselves in match play after qualifying 7th. The men beat Lindenwood 2-0 in the opening round. A 2-0 win over Newman in the semi-finals sent CCSJ to the finals. The Crimson Wave took on Davenport for a 2-1 win and a 1st place B Division finish.
The Crimson Wave will compete at the Hoosier Classic on February 18th and 19th in Indianapolis, IN.
Men’s Bowling Finishes 8th at Blue and Gold
1/22/12 – The Crimson Wave men finished 8th at the Blue and Gold Classic at the Chippewa Bowl in South Bend, IN.
After the first 6 games of competition the Crimson Wave found themselves in 18th place. The Crimson Wave bowled the highest game in the final of day with an 1141 to move up to 11th place.
Mitchell Katic and Toby Kraus led the Crimson Wave individually.
Men’s Bowling Finishes 4th at Hoinke
1/16/12 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team finished 4th overall at the Hoinke Bearcat Open this weekend in Cincinnati, OH.
The Crimson wave finished day one in 3rd place just 103 pins from the leader, after an exciting high scoring game six where the men rolled an impressive 1164 total pins. The second day of competition found the Crimson Wave without much rhythm falling back a position to finish 4th overall.
Toby Kraus was named to the All-Match Play team after leading the tournament with a 228.1 average and going 8-1 overall as an individual.
Men’s Bowling Takes 2nd in Vegas
12/22/11 - The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team competed in the Collegiate Shootout at Texas Station Bowling Center on Dec 18 &19.
The field consisted of 38 men’s teams competing at this Tier 1 event that is unique in that each game has a match play portion where teams are in pools of 4 teams competing for total pin fall and bonus pins for winning matches.
The Crimson Wave men found themselves holding their own in 9th place after the first day of competition. However with Freshman Mitchell Katic leading the way the next day with a 750 series and a tournament average of 240 to lead all competitors, the Crimson Wave men clawed their way back into 4th place going into the final positioning round against Midland, West Texas, and William Penn.
Midland would go onto to win the tournament but CCSJ kept battling for every pin with Senior Toby Kraus throwing all 3 strikes in the tenth to put CCSJ into a virtual tie for second place with William Penn. Due to the tie the two teams then had to bowl a sudden death one baker game match which CCSJ prevailed in 215-184 for 2nd place.
After two tough days of competition the Crimson Wave then headed to the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational at Strike Zone bowl inside Sunset Station.
The Crimson Wave came out a little slow on the first day of competition and found themselves in 9th place going into the second day of competition.
On day two of the invitational CCSJ came out doing some of their best bowling and worked their way back to third place going into the last game but fell victim to one of their lower scores and fell to seventh place going into the match play finals with 14 teams.
In the first match play round CCSJ just couldn't get on track and lost to Texas A&M 3 games to 1. Again Katic led your crimson wave men with a 211 average and a 23rd place finish overall, and Kraus had a 206 average and was 38th overall, also making the trip for this four grueling days of competition was freshman Anthony Fiorenzo, Sophmore Ryan McCoy, Juniors Brett Wagner, Josh Toth, Charles Smoot, and senior Mike Kubacki Jr.
Men’s Bowling Rallies Back
11/27/11 – Toby Kraus was named to the National College Team Matches All-Match Play Team averaging 201 for the tournament and helping the Crimson Wave rally back to a 6th place finish in Fairview Heights, IL.
The Crimson Wave struggled in the opening rounds of the tournament that featured 15 of the top 20 teams in the country that resulted in the toughest competition so far this year. After the first two game of competition CCSJ found themsleves in 15th place, pushing forward the men made ground jumping to 9th place after five games.
After qualifying for the extended baker games in 7th place the Crimson Wave swept Robert Morris University, Lindenwood University and Morehead State University 2-0 in each match up. Brett Wagner added a 15th place finish averaging 206 for CCSJ.
The Crimson Wave men will travel to Las Vegas, NV on December 18th for the Collegiate Shootout.
Men’s Bowling Finishes 4th at Boilermaker
10/31/11 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team finished 4th overall this weekend at the Boilermaker Classic hosted at the Arrowhead Bowl Lafayette, IN.
The first day of competition found our Crimson Wave men competing for first place throughout the day with Lindenwood University and Morehead State University, although leading at times the Crimson Wave men found themselves in 3rd place out of 39 teams upon completion of the first day’s competition. The Crimson Wave men were led by a balanced attack with Junior Charles Smoot III narrowly missing the all-tournament team with a seventh place finish and a 205.2 avg, he was followed closely by Freshman Mitchell Katic with a 13th place finish and a 202.8 avg, and senior Toby Kraus continued to perform well with a 202 avg, 15th overall.
After the first day of competition the Crimson Wave knew the challenging lane condition of the Boilermaker Classic would be even tougher during baker format, and it was. The Crimson Wave men struggled through a second day of competition and slipped slightly by dropping to fourth place.
The Crimson Wave men will travel to the National Team Matches on November 25th and 26th.
Crimson Wave Men Win Orange and Black
10/17/11 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team took a first place finish at the Orange and Black Classic in Centerville, OH.
The Crimson Wave men got off to a slow start on day one starting 13th out of 29 teams. Freshman Mitchell Katic gave the men a spark in the qualifying round pushing the men into 7th place. Senior Toby Kraus helped in the effort finishing 6th overall as an individual.
The men came out on day two to another slow start in the early baker matches. The second twelve baker games brought the men a 223 average putting them in 4th place. The men dispatched Davenport University in the first round of bracket play, 3-0.
In the semi-final round the men took on the number one seed Lindenwood University. The men found themselves ahead 2-1 after three games. Kraus would seal the Crimson Wave victory with a double in the tenth frame of game four.
The championship round brought on the third ranked Saginaw Valley State. The match was a tightly fought contest being tied 2-2 after four games. Katic would seal the men’s tournament win with a strike in the 9th to put away Saginaw 3-2.
Men’s Bowling Signs Fiorenzo
5/26/11 - Calumet College of St. Joseph men’s bowling coach Mike Kubacki has announced the signing of, Anthony Fiorenzo from Wall Township, New Jersey to a national letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic careers with the Crimson Wave.
Fiorenzo came to the Crimson Wave after watching the team in the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships the past five seasons. Feeling Coach Kubacki and the Crimson Wave could be the right choice Fiorenzo started to research the institution. “They have a great bowling program and a great degree in criminal justice. I thought this could be a great opportunity” said Fiorenzo. After meeting Coach Kubacki at the junior national tournament the rest just fell into place.
“Anthony comes to CCSJ with a consistent record of improvement throughout his high school career. With his experience gained from challenging himself against youth’s best at Jr. Gold Events, Anthony’s Big strike ball and competition record have him well prepared to be a collegiate standout.” Said Head Coach Mike Kubacki
When asked what is goal is while at CCSJ, Fiorenzo had only two words “National Title!”.
Toth Finishes in First Round
5/24/11 – Crimson Wave bowler Josh Toth finished his run at the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship in the first round.
Toth took a first round loss to Mikey Hill 191-181, 170-226, 247-215, 212-223, and 224-247.
Veenstra and Toth Finish Day One
5/23/11 – Crimson Wave bowlers Alice Veenstra and Josh Toth finished day one of the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships in Euless, TX.
On the ladies side Veenstra finished the day in third overall out of sixteen bowlers grabbing a total of 2,351 pins. Veenstra’s finish will give her first and second round byes tomorrow as the championship heads to bracket play in a single elimination best of five game tournament.
On the men’s side Toth finished with 2, 294 pins which sits him 17 out of a total 24 bowlers. Toth will enter round one of the single elimination bracket play tomorrow morning.
Men’s Bowling at Nationals
4/22/11 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team was defeated in the second round of the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships in Columbus, GA.
The Crimson Wave men entered bracket play as the 10th seed. The men were defeated in round of bracket play by Saginaw Valley State University 4-2. The Crimson Wave moved to the elimination bracket to face Morehead State University. After leading three games to two the Crimson Wave were defeated by Morehead State, 4-3 ending this year’s national tournament run.
This is the fifth straight appearance for the Crimson Wave at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.
Krucek Named 2nd Team All-American
4/20/11 – Men’s Bowler Sammy Krucek was named to the NCBCA Second Team All-American team tonight. Krucek was honored at the Night of  Champions Banquet for the 2011 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships in Columbus, GA.
This is the third appearance for Krucek at the ITC Championships and the fifth straight for the Crimson Wave men’s bowling program. Krucek was also named an NAIA All-American this season. In 2009 he was honored as a NCBCA All-American Honorable Mention.
Krucek Named NAIA All-American
4/1/11 – Senior men’s bowler Sammy Krucek has been named NAIA First Team All-American for his performances this season. Krucek was honored tonight at the NAIA bowling banquet in Indianapolis, IN. The Crimson Wave bowling teams are currently competing in the NAIA Bowling Invitational.

Men’s Bowling Qualifies for Fifth Straight Time
3/13/11 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team has qualified for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships for the fifth straight time today after winning the USBC Intercollegiate Team Sectionals in Peoria, IL at Landmark Lanes.
The Crimson Wave men took over the top position yesterday midway through the first day of competition only to sit in second place after the first 32 baker games of play. The men came out strong this morning recapturing the top spot and holding onto it through the final 32 baker games. This is the second time the Crimson Wave men have won the USBC Intercollegiate Team Sectionals.
Sophomore Josh Toth qualified for the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships Thursday night finishing the singles round in the third place. Toth will compete in Euless, TX May 23-24.
The Crimson Wave will compete as a team in the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships April 20-23 in Columbus, GA at the AMF Peach Lanes.
Bowlers Named Academic All-Americans
3/8/11 – Nine Crimson Wave bowlers have earned the distinction of Academic All-American awarded by the National Bowling Coaches Association.
Eight women’s bowlers were given the honor, Dorothea West, Alice Veenstra, Shannon Wensel, Rhiannon Bauer, Sara Bell, Shannon Finton, Jessica Funk, Jordan Harrington and one men’s bowler in Sammy Krucek.
To be selected to the NCBCA team, a bowler must be a United States Bowling Congress collegiate athlete who has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 based on a 4.0 scale. More than 530 collegiate bowlers earned academic honors for the year.
Bowling Sectionals Announced
2/23/11 – The USBC has released the sectional pairings for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship Sectionals for 2011. Both the men and women bowling teams have been selected to attend the Peoria, IL Sectional.
The USBC has four ITC Sectionals, Peoria, IL, Allentown, PA, Chattanooga, TN, Euless, TX. The top four teams from each sectional will qualify for the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships on April 20-23 at AMF Peach Lanes in Columbus, Ga.
The sectional will take place on March 12-13 at the Landmark Lanes in Peoria, IL. The Crimson Wave men will look to qualify for the USBC ITC for the fifth straight time while the women are trying to make this their third time in five years.
Men Finish 7th at Blue and Gold
1/23/11 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team finished 7th overall this weekend at the Blue and Gold Classic in South Bend, IN. This event is classified as a USBC Tier 1 event.
Josh Toth finished 21st overall averaging 207 with Sammy Krucek finishing 67th overall with a 195 average.
The Crimson Wave will be back in action on the weekend of February 5th-6th for the McKendree Baker Challenge in St. Louis, MO.
Bowling Competes at Sam’s Town
12/22/10 – The Crimson Wave bowling teams competed at the Sam’s Town Invitational in Las Vegas, NV this week. The invitational is a tier 1 event for both teams.
The Crimson Wave women finished 6th overall out of 20 teams. Alice Veenstra finished 16th overall out of 99 bowlers averaging 189.5.
The Crimson Wave men finished 8th overall out of 47 teams. Toby Kraus finished 18th overall out of 240 bowlers averaging 205.5.
The Crimson Wave will be back in action this week at the Las Vegas Invitational.
Bowling Teams Top 10 in NAIA Rankings
12/20/10 – The Crimson Wave bowling teams are both ranked in the top ten of the NAIA’s first ever Coaches Poll.
The Crimson Wave men are sitting at 6th with 65 votes while the women are 8th with 21 votes. The NAIA currently recognizes bowling as an emerging sport.
The Crimson Wave bowling programs were started in the 2006-2007 season. Since the start the Crimson Wave women have made 2 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship appearances while the Crimson Wave men have made 4 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship along with a runner up finish at the 2010 USBC ITC.
Men’s Bowling 7th at National Team Games
11/27/10 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team finished 7th overall at the National Collegiate Team Match Games at the St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights, IL.
The Crimson Wave found themselves in 11th place after day one of the event with Sammy Krucek finishing 11th individually. Toby Kraus was 16th individually for the men.
The men battled hard through the second day grabbing 650 of the possible 750 bonus pins. The men used these bonus pins to move from eleventh to 7th place in the final positioning round.
The Crimson Wave men will travel to Las Vegas, NV on December 19th for two straight tournaments in the Collegiate Shootout and Glen Carlson Invitational.
Bowling Finds Success at Orange and Black
10/16/10 - A trip to Pikeville University’s Orange & Black tournament in the Dayton, OH area for our CCSJ Bowling Teams proved to be well worth the nearly 5-hour trip this past weekend. Both teams vied for their respective titles by qualifying for the tournament’s Top-8 Match Play finals with solid team performances during the six-game qualifying and 16-game baker rounds. The Women finished in 6th Place (38 teams) after qualifying for match-play in 4th, while the Men finished in 2nd Place (60 teams) after coming ever so close to another title.
The Crimson Wave women easily made their way into the best-of-5 Baker match-play finals with solid performances from a trio of veteran keglers. Katie Jones paced a balanced Crimson Wave attack with a six game total of 1140 (190.0 avg.), good for 15th place in the individual category. Not far behind was Alice Veenstra in 17th place with an 1126 total (187.7 avg.). Rounding out the trio’s solid performance was Katrina Elwardt with a total of 1104 (184.0 avg.), good for 25th place. Other notable performances were turned-in by Dorothea West (751/4) and Freshman Jordan Harrington (404/2) coming off the bench.
In the initial match, the Crimson Wave won a close game-one against Robert Morris when a clutch spare by anchorwoman, Alice Veenstra, sealed a 168-165 victory. The next two games were close to the end, but the Eagles consistent shot-making proved to be too much as they outscored the Crimson Wave 188-156 and 193-179, then 224-188 in the finale to advance to the second round of match play.
On the Men’s side, the ever-strong 2010 National Runner-up CCSJ Men lost a heart-breaking final match to Lindenwood University (St. Charles, MO) to finish in 2nd Place. After two games in the finals, the Crimson Wave Men quickly found themselves down 2-0. They fought hard, though, and battled back to tie the match 2-2 with solid performances in games 3 & 4. In the 5th and deciding game, the Crimson Wave equaled Lindenwood’s performance throughout, and it came down to the final frame before the second of back-to-back pocket splits (4-9’s) denied our men another title.
The Crimson Men were led by senior Sammy Krucek, who made his second consecutive All-Tournament Team with a six-game total of 1319 (219.8 avg.). Close behind, and just missing the all-tournament team, was Mike Kubacki, Jr. with a 1312 total (218.7 avg.). Also, contributing to the team’s strong performance were Toby Kraus (1243/6) and Brett Wagner (1029/5).
The Women and Men Bowlers next travel to Lafayette, IN on October 30th to compete in the Purdue Boilermaker at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Lanes.
Men’s Bowling Finishes 4th at Hammer Midwest
10/3/10 - The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team finished 5th overall at the Hammer Midwest Tournament this weekend in Wauwatosa, WI.
Sammy Krucek finished 5th overall as an individual for the Crimson Wave earning all-tournament honors.
The Crimson Wave will travel to the Orange and Black Classic October 16-17th in Beavercreek, OH.
Men Volunteer in Griffith
6/10/10 – The Crimson Wave men’s bowling have succeeded on the bowling lanes for the past years but this time have succeeded in the community. The Crimson Wave bowlers volunteered their time to help the Griffith Historical Society paint there Train Museum's Depot.
Griffith's Historical Society primary members are senior citizen's who have had the challenge of repainting the Depot for the last year. Head Coach Mike Kubacki who serves on the town of Griffith’s downtown revitalization committee offered the help of the team who gladly accepted.
