Missions & Vision Statement of Management Information Systems
Missions Statement
Course content focuses on project management, alternative sourcing techniques, and writing and managing contracts currently used in sourcing strategies. These skills, coupled with focused management courses, prepare students to manage advanced technology as well as leading-edge information systems development techniques. Case studies, group projects and hands-on laboratory work prepare students to effectively manage technical computing environments.
Cluster groups of approximately 15 adult learners meet once a week for 4 hours and remain together for the entire program. In this collaborative learning environment, students are encouraged to bring their personal experiences to the classroom, integrate what they know with what they learn and share their experiences with other students. Graduates leave Calumet College of St. Joseph possessing the personal and professional skills needed to succeed in today’s highly technical computing field.
