B.S. in Social Sciences  (124 hours)
The following courses are required for a baccalaureate degree:

  1. 56 hours:  General Education

  2. 18 hours:  Requisites for the Major

    SSC/SOCL 350  Social Structure and Conflict in American Society
    SSC/PLSC 420  Civil Rights and Civil Liberties
    SSC/HIST 431  American Urban History
    SSC/ECON 480  International Economics
    SSC 495 Internship/Field Work
    SSC/SOCL 496  Topics in Sociology or SSC 497 Research in the Social Sciences

Minor in Social Sciences   (15 hours)
