The faculty of Calumet College of St. Joseph has given considerable thought and effort to structuring a curriculum that will provide a sound general education for all students. CCSJ believes that colleges exist to transmit cultural inheritance, that every educated person should have an acquaintance with the content and the methods of inquiry in the chief fields of knowledge, and that such learning should be characterized by breadth, depth, and integration.
