LAW ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION GRADUATE PROGRAM
(Through May 2007)

GRADUATE PROGRAM OUTCOME OBJECTIVES

1. Demonstrate mastery of written, oral and communication skills as applied in the law enforcement environment.

2. Interact effectively with persons from varied cultural backgrounds.

3. Assess the reliability and validity of research in law enforcement.

4. Conduct original research (Thesis Option only).

5. Apply the Civil Rights Codes and Principles of Labor Relations to personnel issues in law enforcement.

6. Manage a law enforcement agency within the boundaries of professional ethics.

7. Explain how public policy is shaped in the communities they serve and demonstrate the processes by which they will contribute to the development of public policy.
