The Master of Science in Public Safety Administration has an interdisciplinary
focus that prepares students to assume advanced leadership positions within
the broad area of public safety. A curriculum that emphasizes both theory
and practice teaches students to think critically about the public safety
issues confronting contemporary American society. The course work exposes
students to the most important elements of public safety, including public
safety law, crisis and emergency management, risk management, technology
and information security and terrorism as concept and tactic. The societal
implications of public safety concerns are also addressed. |
