second year of a pilot project that uses advanced accelerated delivery to
assist students in progressing toward degree completion in a timely

important for part-time students who have, historically, made up the large
majority of Human Services majors.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;
</span>In launching this pilot, the program was required to comply with two

e is
an Accreditation Standard for Contact hours.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>The course must demonstrate the
equivalent of a minimum amount of<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;
</span>hours of actual engagement with the professor and other students.
Second, there is an Academic Standard at the undergraduate level.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>It is expected that students engag=
e in
two hours of independent outside class work for each hour in class.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>If students are to effectively pla=
n for
success in this course it is important that they understand how these two
