Registration:
New student registration begins at CCSJ in early summer and
continues on a rolling basis throughout the summer. First time
students at CCSJ will meet with an Academic Advisor one-on-one
to register for classes. Your Academic Advisor will help you
organize your class schedule to best meet your academic and personal
needs. You will also be able to learn about career options at
CCSJ if you are unsure of what major you wish to pursue.
After your first year of study, you will have the option of
registering for classes through our on-line student services
system or you may continue to meet individually with an Academic
Advisor. Our goal is to help you graduate in the major of your
choice in a timely manner. Click here for more information about
the CCSJ Office of Academic Advising.
Orientation:
New student orientation typically takes place a week before
the beginning of classes in the fall. You will receive a letter
regarding your orientation date once you have been admitted to
CCSJ. The orientation program is designed to allow you to make
the transition to college as successful as possible. You will
have the opportunity to meet other incoming CCSJ students, learn
about financial aid and academic advising options, activate your
CCSJ student e-mail account, receive your CCSJ student identification
card, and have answered any questions you may have regarding
what the expectations are for a CCSJ student.
