Available CCSJ Scholarships and Grants
Calumet College of St. Joseph rewards academic and athletic excellence while addressing the concerns of financially needy students. The College awarded over $1,500,000 in financial assistance during the 2011-2012 academic year, a substantial increase over the previous year. See the scholarships and grants listed below to see if you might qualify for CCSJ assistance. You must have filed the 2012-2013 FAFSA for any award to be applied to your account.

Trustee Scholarship |

C.PP.S Scholarship |

St. Joseph Scholarship |
Eligibility based on academic merit and attendance at a Catholic high school. Student must maintain a 3.0 GPA while enrolled at CCSJ. For full-time students only. 8 semesters, Fall and Spring |

Creative Preformance Scholarship |

Awarded to select first-year and second-year students in the Honors Learning Community program |

GED Grant |
Minimum 250(0) score on the GED test. This grant is renewable for 9 semesters based on attainment of 3.0 GPA |

Completion of the FAFSA is required for all scholarships even though they are non-need based. Students cannot combine these scholarships with other types of gift aid. |

Eligibility is based on student participation in at least one NAIA sport per academic year. Fall & Spring semesters only. |

Available to Indiana residents who do not receive state aid. Students must be enrolled full-time. Fall & Spring semesters only. Based on financial need. |

Summer Grant |
Enrollment during the summer semester. Based on the financial need of the student. |

Diocesan Grant |
Available to full-time employees of the Diocese of Gary or the Archdiocese of Chicago. |

CCSJ Hammond |
Available to students who receive the Hammond College Bound Scholarship. The award assists in covering the remaining tuition costs after all other forms of financial aid are applied. |

Available to students who receive the Foundations of East Chicago Scholarship. The award matches the amount of the FECS up to the cost of tuition after all other forms of financial aid are applied. |

Student Participation Grant |
Complete requirements as specified while serving as a CCSJ mentor, tutor, club President, club VP or member of the drama group. |

CCSJ Legacy Grant |
Be the son or daughter of a CCSJ Bachelor or Masters degree recipient. Full-time enrollment required. Fall & Spring semesters only. |
Up to $3,000 |
Completion of the FAFSA is required for all grants. All the above grants are awarded exclusively for courses at Calumet College of St. Joseph, are limited in number, and are awarded on a first come, first served basis. These grants are renewable based on need and availability of funding, unless otherwise noted. All grants are based on number of credit hours enrolled. |
