Dates for CCSJ Admissions Events 2009-2010
10/15/09 Experience CCSJ Day
This day is designed for prospective high school students (and their parents) to get the full campus experience at CCSJ. You will have the opportunity to meet with admissions and financial aid counselors, sit in on a class, and tour the college.
11/12/09 Fall Preview Day
The format will follow that of Experience CCSJ Day described above.
12/03/2009 Adult Student Enrollment Day 9:00AM-6:00PM
This day is designed for prospective adult students to complete the enrollment process in a single visit. A completed admissions application as well as official transcripts will be required for a decision to be made that same day.
1/1/09 First Day to Complete FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student aid is a form that can be filled out annually by current and anticipating college students (both undergraduate and graduate) to determine their eligibility for federal student financial aid.
02/20/2010 Spring Open House 11:00AM-12:30PM
You will have the opportunity to meet CCSJ faculty, staff, and students, learn more about CCSJ’s academic and athletics offerings, find out about the affordability of a CCSJ education, listen to presentations, tour the college, and, if you wish, complete your application for admissions before you leave. You will have the opportunity to see our seniors from the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams play in their final home game.
3/08/10 Indiana Deadline for FAFSA
This is the final day to fill out the FAFSA to get the full amount of grants and loans that can be offered to you.
4/13/2010 CCSJ Information Session
This program is for prospective students to learn more about CCSJ and take a tour of the campus.
6/2010 CCSJ Transfer Visit Day
You will be able to receive an immediate transfer evaluation of all transcripts from your previous college experience. Academic advisors will be on hand to explain to you how you can most conveniently complete your degree at CCSJ.
06/2010 Working Smarter
This event is designed for adult students who whish to return to the classroom in order their degree. CCSJ collaborates with other Northwest Indiana institutions of higher education to offer these valuable presentations. The exact date for this event will be communicated in spring 2010.
08/15/2010 New Student Enrollment Day 9:00AM-6:00PM
This event is designed for both recent high school graduates and adult students to complete the enrollment process in a single visit. You will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor and file the FAFSA, receive an admissions decision (if you have a complete file), and register with an academic advisor for fall semester classes.
