Alexandra is a graduate of CCSJ with a B.S. in Management and also attained an M.S. in Management from National Louis University. Besides overseeing the Office of Admissions, Alexandra supervises the Offices of the Registrar, Financial Aid, Academic Advising and Career Services, Campus Ministry, Student Activities and the Dean of Students. She is a longtime resident of Highland.

Chuck joined the CCSJ Admissions staff in 2002. He had previously worked in admissions in the Chicago area for over ten years. A fluent speaker of Spanish, Chuck can answer any questions Spanish speaking Latino parents may have. Chuck is also the contact for international students who need a student visa to study at CCSJ. He has a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.A. in College Administration from Northeastern Illinois University. Currently, he resides in Hammond.

Since joining the CCSJ staff in 1997, Bev has worked in both the recruiting and advising of accelerated program students. As a graduate of the Organization Management program at CCSJ, Bev well knows the advantages that an accelerated program offers the adult student. If you have any questions about Life Experience credit, Bev is the person to contact. A resident of Valparaiso, Bev is soon to earn an M.S. in Adult Education from IUPUI.

Bill has just recently joined the CCSJ admissions staff as the first full-time Admissions Counselor for the accelerated Public Safety Management Program. His recruitment territory will include both Northwest Indiana and the greater Chicago area. Bill is a retired Lieutenant from the Country Club Hills Police Department in Illinois, with over 26 years of experience in law enforcement. A 2004 graduate of CCSJ’s LEM Program, Bill plans on obtaining a Masters Degree in Public Safety Administration. Bill is an NRA Certified Shotgun and Pistol Instructor, and volunteers his instruction at Boy Scout sponsored Sport Shooting Camps. Bill also enjoys golf, sport clay shooting, and riding his Harley Davidson Electraglide.

Becky Leevey

Becky works with both first-year and transfer students. She also serves as the coordinator for the Student Ambassadors program. She is new to the area from Stryker, Ohio where she coached junior high track and field. Prior to that, she was a Residence Hall Mentor at Louisburg College in North Carolina. Becky received her bachelor degree in Social Studies in 2001 and her Master of Arts in 2005 from Eastern Michigan University. She resides in the south loop area of Chicago.

Cathy works primarily with enrolling adult students. This comes naturally to her because she returned to college as an adult, completing a bachelor degree at CCSJ in Organization Management. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Management at Indiana Wesleyan University. Look for Cathy on one of her visits to community colleges in the Calumet region. A resident of Schererville, Cathy is active in community theater in Northwest Indiana.

She works with both freshman and transfer students to help guide them through the admissions process as well as being the coordinator for the Student Ambassador Program. Crystal is a lifelong resident of Hammond and attended Clark High School. She then went on to pursue her degree at St. Joseph’s College, where she received her B.S. in Communications. Working with students to help them go to college and achieve their dreams is a passion of hers, as well as taking on new challenges. Crystal is currently pursuing her Master’s in Communications Studies at Purdue Calumet in hopes to further her career here at CCSJ.
