Academic Quality Improvement Program - Action Projects

Action Projects serve important goals for Calumet College of St. Joseph. They focus and highlight our efforts in specific improvement initiatives, and provide the Higher Learning Commission with evidence that CCSJ is committed to continuous improvement. AQIP expects participating organizations to have three action projects underway at all times, and to share information about them.

Current Action Projects

• Assess the potential of the College to dramatically expand the use of online systems capabilities in order to reduce the number of paper forms now used in our various operations.

• Develop a marketing campaign in support of the CORE Initiative.

• Under the aegis of the CORE Initiative, develop, document, and deploy strategies designed to institutionalize the College’s learning communities pilot for traditional students enrolling in the Fall 2008 Semester.

  Orientation Course for incoming traditional students as part of the Fall 2008 curriculum.
