
Men’s Tennis Ends Season at Bethel
4/24/10 – The Crimson Wave men’s tennis team ended their season today at Bethel College being defeated 9-0. The Crimson Wave fought through a tough schedule this spring ending their season with a 1-10 record. The team showed major improvements throughout the season with wins by Tommy Sherry and Kyle Kocsis early in the season.
The team took their only win from Central State University 9-0. The Crimson Wave dominated the match with the doubles teams of Victor Villegas and Nathan Serna along with Stephen McClain and Sherry getting their first wins of the spring. The Crimson Wave men’s tennis team will be back in action in the fall of 2010.
Tennis Stays Close with Judson
3/6/10 – The Crimson Wave men’s tennis team stayed close with the Judson University Eagles this weekend. The Crimson Wave were defeated 6-3 in close fought battle.
Julian Martinez and Kyle Kocsis took a win in the doubles portion on a Judson forfeit. Tommy Cherry defeated Judson’s Jesse Perez 6-3, 6-0 and Kocsis again got his win on a forfeit. Stephan McClain and Victor Villegas each took their singles match to three.
The Crimson Wave tennis team will host Adrian College Wednesday March 10 at 10:00 am. The match will be held at Match Point Tennis Club in Griffith, IN.
Men Lose Tough Fight
10/3/09 - The Crimson Wave men's tennis team was defeated at St. Joseph's College 8-1. Tommy Cherry won in the number five singles position.
Men Take Loss at Judson
9/16/09 - The Crimson Wave men's tennis team took a 6-3 loss to Judson University tonight, the results are as follows:
