Ladies Take Conference Loss

10/24/09 - The Crimson Wave women's soccer team was defeated by conference opponent Trinity Christian College today 7-0.

The Crimson Wave (1-16) will host Trinity International University of Tuesday October 27th in a 3:00 pm game.

Ladies Take Loss at Home

10/7/09 - The Crimson Wave women's soccer team was defeated at home today by conference opponent the University of St. Francis 4-0, after being down by only a goal at the half. Linda Munoz had eight saves for the ladies.

The Crimson Wave (1-12 overall, 0-5 CCAC) will travel to Illinois Tech on Saturday October 10, for a 12:00 pm game.

Ladies Edged Out at Holy Cross

10/3/09 - The Crimson Wave women's soccer team was edged out today at Holy Cross College.

Holy Cross, the newest member of the Chicagoland Collegiate athletic conference took an early lead on the Crimson Wave today. In the forty-fourth minute of play the Crimson Wave's Gabriela Rodriguez scored the tying goal. The ladies could not hold giving Holy Cross a goal in the eighty-eighth minute, making the final 2-1. Linda Munoz had five saves for the ladies.

The Crimson Wave are now 1-11 overall and 0-3 in CCAC play.

Ladies Defeated at Robert Morris

9/26/09 - The Crimson Wave women's soccer team was defeated at Robert Morris today 10-0. Linda Munoz had 13 saves for the ladies. The women are now 1-9.

Ladies Take Loss at Goshen

9/19/09 - The Crimson Wave women’s soccer team was defeated at Goshen College today 3-0.  Linda Munoz had 9 saves for the ladies.  The Crimson Wave (1-7) will travel to Judson University on Wednesday September 23 for a 4:00 pm conference match up. 

Ladies Take Loss at Home

9/16/09 – The Crimson Wave women’s soccer team was defeated at home 4-1 by Taylor University tonight.  The ladies only goal was scored by Kari Stanley on a Penalty Kick in the second half of play.

The Crimson Wave (1-6) will travel to Goshen College on Saturday September 19th for a 6:00 pm game. 

Ladies Advance to Championship Game

9/5/09 - The Crimson Wave women's soccer team has advanced the championship game of the Crimson Wave Invite.  The ladies defeated Waldorf College today in the opening round 2-1 in overtime.  This is the first game the ladies have won since the 2005 season.

Gabriela Rodriguez scored both of the Crimson Wave's goals, including the game winning goal in overtime. 

The ladies will take on the University of St. Mary's in the championship game tomorrow September 6th at 2:00 pm.  The invite is being held at Campagna Academy in Schererville, IN.

Ladies Defeated by Penn

9/2/09 -The Crimson Wave women's soccer team was defeated 4-0 tonight by William Penn University.  The ladies are now 0-3 overall.  Their next game will be Saturday August 5th at 9:00 am  against Waldorf College in the opening round of the Crimson Wave Invite at Campagna Academy.

Ladies Tie Bethel in Season Scrimmage

8/25/09 - The Crimson Wave women’s soccer team tied Bethel College tonight 0-0 in the ladies only scrimmage.  Linda Munoz had 13 saves for the Crimson Wave, while Angie Malinowski and Brittany Moczynski led the strong defensive effort.
 
The Crimson Wave women will open up their season on August 28th at 4:00 pm on the road against the College of St. Mary’s.

Ladies Take Loss in Exhibition

8/20/09 – The Crimson Wave women’s soccer team took a loss to Iowa Wesleyan College today 6-0 in an exhibition match up.  The Crimson Wave women will open up their season on August 28th at 4:00 pm on the road against the College of St. Mary’s.
