CCAC All-Academic Teams Announced

1/6/09 - The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference released its All-Academic Teams for the fall sports of men and women's cross country, men and women's soccer and women's volleyball. Jill LaBella was named to the women's cross country all-academic team.

Ladies Say Goodbye to Four Year Senior

11/30/08 - The Calumet College cross country program said farewell to senior Jill Labella on Saturday, November 8th. Labella was one of the pioneers of the cross country program since its inception. According to head men's coach, Mike Liss " Jill was very dedicated to the program, she often trained alone and was the lone participant for the Wave on the women's side. Jill made steady improvements during her senior season... ending her final race in a season best time at the CCAC cross country championships at Olivet."

Labella is a Secondary Eduacation major from Lansing, Illinois. She is a graduate of Thorton Fractional South High School.

Women's Cross Country at Sean Earl Invitational

9/27/08 - Women's Cross Country runner Jill LaBella competed at the Sean Earl Invitational Saturday at Loyola University. LaBella finished 328th overall with a time of 28:56.

The women travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin to compete at the Lucien Rosa Invitational on Saturday, October,11.
