Women’s Tennis Ends Season at Marian College Invite

4/18/10 – The Crimson Wave women’s tennis team ended their season today at the Marian College Invite defeating Mount Mary College 8-1.

The Crimson Wave women started out their spring season strong with an 8-1 win over Judson University.  After a four matching losing streak, the Crimson Wave came back to win two of their last three matches of the season finishing strong.  Angelica Guzman and Angela Hughes won four doubles matches this spring including the only doubles win for the Crimson Wave against Marian College.
    
The Crimson Wave dominated the match against Central State with Christina Sendejas, Ashley Cherry, Guzman and Hughes going untouched in singles play.  To finish the season the Crimson Wave took a strong win from Mount Mary with Lizeth Quezada winning her singles match 6-0, 6-0.

Women’s Tennis Sinks the Eagles

3/6/10 – The Crimson Wave women’s tennis team sunk the Judson University Eagles 8-1 this weekend.

Christina Sendejas and Lizeth Quezada won their doubles match 8-6.  Ashley Cherry and Jessica Orozco escaped their doubles match with a win 9-7 while Angelica Guzman and Angela Hughes were perfect winning 8-0. 

Sendejas defeated Danielle Sum 6-6 and 6-4, Cherry defeated Kristen Kress 6-0, 6-2 and Hughes dfeated Melissa Vivian 6-0, and 6-4.  Guzman and Murphy each controlled their match the whole way with Guzman wining over Angela Schultz 6-0, 6-1 and Murphy cruising past Averi Kirchner 6-0, 6-0. 

The Crimson Wave tennis team will host Adrian College Wednesday March 10 at 10:00 am.  The match will be held at Match Point Tennis Club in Griffith, IN.

Ladies Split at Robert Morris Tri

10/10/09 - The Crimson Wave women's tennis team split at the Robert Morris Tri-Match today. The ladies defeated conference opponent St. Ambrose University 6-3. In the second match up of the day the Crimson Wave fell to Robert Morris University 7-2.

Ladies Fight Hard at St. Joe

10/3/09 - The Crimson Wave women's tennis team was defeated at St. Joseph's College 8-1. Angelica Guzman and Angela Hughes won in the number three doubles position.

9/16/09 - The Crimson Wave women's tennis team defeated Judson University 9-0. Angela Hughes and Angelica Guzman are undefeated in doubles play. The results:
