(4/30/07) Baseball Defeated by Robert Morris
The Crimson Wave baseball team was defeated by Robert Morris College yesterday in a conference double header 18-6 and 10-4. The men’s record is now 10-35 overall and 1-19 in conference. Their next game will be today at Judson College for a conference double header.

(4/25/07) Baseball Cancelled
The Crimson Wave baseball game scheduled for today against Olivet Nazarene University has been canceled due to weather. This game will be rescheduled for a later date.

(4/24/07) Men’s Bowling Finishes Season; Top 12
The Crimson Wave men’s bowling team has returned from the USBC National Team Championships, finishing in the top 12. The National Tournament consisted of the final 16 teams and a double elimination tournament. The men lost their first round match up against Lindenwood University 4-3. The Wave then went on to beat Florida State University 4-2. In the Wave’s last match up they were defeated by Morehead State University 4-2 to be eliminated.

(4/24/07) Crimson Wave Get Two Against IUN
The Crimson Wave baseball team won a double header today against Indiana University Northwest 4-3 and 16-5. The Wave's Paul Schorle ended the day with two home runs and 11 rbi's. The men's record is now 10-33. Their next game will be Wednesday April 25 against Olivet Nazarene University at Block Stadium starting at 1:00 pm.

(4/23/07) Baseball Loses Two to St. Francis
The Crimson Wave baseball team lost a double header to St. Francis yesterday 15-4 and 8-6. The men’s record is now 7-32 overall and 1-17 in conference. Their next game will be today at Block Stadium against Indiana University Northwest starting at 2:00 pm.

(4/23/07) Softball Defeated by Marian
The Crimson Wave softball team lost a double header yesterday to Marian College 11-2 and 2-0. The women’s record now stands at 8-32. Their next game will be April 27 at home against Cardinal Stritch University starting at 3:00 pm.

(4/20/07) Baseball Falls to Bethel
The Crimson Wave baseball team lost to Bethel College last night 9-1. The Wave’s Dan Rudenga went 3-4 on the night. The men’s record is now 8-28. Their next game will be today at St. Xavier University starting at 3:00 pm.

(4/19/07) Crimson Wave Comes Up Short to IIT
The Crimson Wave baseball team was defeated last night by Illinois Institute of Technology 13-8. The men’s record is now 8-27 overall and 1-12 in conference. The men will play at Bethel College today at 1:00 pm.

(4/18/07) Softball Game Moved
The Crimson Wave Softball game Friday April 20th at Oakton Community College has been moved to 4:00 pm.

(4/17/07) Softball Defeated by Trinity
The Crimson Wave softball team was defeated in a conference double header today by Trinity Christian College 8-4 and 8-2. In game one Miss Liptack had two doubles while Laura Simunic had a double and two RBI's. Game two brought a two run homer by Corey Scanlan. The ladies record is now 8-30 and 016 in conference. Their next game will be Friday April 20th at Oakton Community College starting at 3:00 pm.

(4/17/06) Wave Defeated by Robert Morris
The Crimson Wave softball team took on Robert Morris College in a conference double header yesterday. The ladies were defeated in each game 9-3 and 9-2. Ashley Berumen hit a 2 run homer for the wave. The ladies record now stands at 8-28 overall and 0-14 in conference. Their next game will be Monday April 16 at Trinity Christian College starting at 3:00 pm.

(4/16/07) Wave Splits with Stritch
The Crimson Wave baseball team split a conference double header yesterday against Cardinal Stritch University. They lost the first game 6-7 and won the second game 10-0. The men's record now improves to 8-22. The men's next game will be April 18 against Illinois Institute of Technology at Block Stadium starting at 7:00pm.

The Crimson Wave Athletic Department would like to honor the student athletes for their academic accomplishments. (4/12/07) Men’s Basketball Signs Two
The Crimson Wave men’s basketball program has signed Waybon McConnell and Marcellus Phelps to national letters of intent. Phelps and McConnell are both transfers from Kish Wauke Community College. See all the new signees

(4/11/07) Softball falls to Olivet
The Crimson Wave Softball team was defeated last night by Olivet Nazarene University in a conference double header 9-1 and 18-0. The women's record is now 8-24 and 0-12 in conference. The women will play on Friday April 13th against Trinity Christian College in the Annual Crossover Tournament starting at 3:00 pm.

(4/10/07) Baseball falls to St. Xavier
The Crimson Wave baseball team fell to St. Xavier University last night 15-3. The men’s record is now 7-21 overall. Their next game will be Thursday April 10 at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne at 2:00 pm.

(4/10/07) Waves fall to Purdue North Central
The Crimson Wave softball team was defeated yesterday by Purdue University North Central in a conference double header 10-2 and 10-2. The women’s record is now 8-22 overall and 0-10 in conference. The women will play at Olivet Nazarene today at 3:00 pm.

(4/09/07) Track and Field at Chicagoland Invitational
The men and women’s track and field team competed in the Chicagoland Invitational this past weekend. The meet was held at North Central College. On the women’s side Joell Dixon finished 10th in the 5000th meter run with a time of 19:46.77. Joe Elizondo finished 18th in the 10000 meter run for the men with a time of 33:39. The next meet for the track and field teams will be this weekend in Indianapolis at the Little State Meet.

(4/04/07) Softball Defeated by St. Francis
The Crimson Wave softball team was defeated last night in a conference double header against St. Francis University 10-0 and 15-7. The women’s record is now 8-20 overall and 0-8 in conference. The women’s next game will be Monday April, 9 at Purdue University North Central starting at 3:00 pm.

(4/03/07) Baseball defeated by PNC
The Crimson Wave baseball team suffered a double header loss to Purdue University North Central last night 8-2 and 8-1. The men’s record is now 7-20 overall and 0-7 in the CCAC conference. The men will take on St. Joseph’s College on Thursday April 5, at 3:00 pm. This game will be played at St. Joseph’s College.

(4/03/07) Men’s Volleyball gets Academic All Conference
Senior Brad Hatfield and Freshman Andrew Schuring have both been named to the MAMVIC All-Academic team.

(4/03/07) Baseball Cancels Due to Weather
The Crimson Wave Baseball game scheduled for today against Judson College starting at12:00 pm has been canceled due to weather. The game will be rescheduled for a later date.

(4/02/07) Contos Signs with Men’s Basketball
Munster High School guard Jon Contos has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Calumet College of St. Joseph under new Head Coach Ryan Sexson. Contos made his decision based not only on basketball but on academics as well. Wanting to earn a business management degree, Contos felt like Calumet College of St. Joseph had the academics that he was looking for. Jon has been named to the All-Conference academic team as well as earning Conference Honorable Mention for is work on the floor.
On the court at Munster, Contos averaged 7.5 ppg in 18.8 minutes on the court. Contos a letter winner also earned his team 3pt Field Goal Percentage award shooting 40% from behind the arc.
Coach Sexson on Jon Contos: “Jon is a very good player and is a great student who comes from a solid program so we are excited to have him as a member of our basketball team. He shoots the basketball with outstanding range and really understands the game.”

(4/02/07) Men’s Volleyball Honors All-Conference
Senior Brad Hatfield was named MAMVIC First Team All-Conference. Hatfield was also voted to three all-tournament teams this year at Clarke College, Park University, and Lindenwood University as well as joining the 30 Kill Club with 34 Kills against Newman University on February 3rd. Freshman Kyle Radde was named to the MAMVIC All-Conference Second Team, while Jeff Robinson was named MAMVIC Honorable Mention.

(4/02/07) Men’s Volleyball Comes to an End
The men’s Volleyball season came to end on Friday with a MAMVIC Conference Tournament loss to Cardinal Stritch University 3 games to 0 (30-32, 27-30, 22-30). The men ended their season with an overall record of 4-23 and a MAMVIC Conference record of 3-7.
