Ryan Sexson enters his fifth year as head coach at Calumet College of St. Joseph. Ryan was previously the assistant coach at his alma mater Purdue University Calumet.
Sexson comes from a strong basketball family as his grandfather Joe Sexson was Indiana's Mr. Basketball
and was an assistant coach at Purdue University before taking the head coaching job at Butler University.
Ryan's father Rick Sexson is a former Division I player and served as Butlers top assistant coach and recruiting
coordinator from 1982-1987. As a prep at Lafayette Jefferson High School, Ryan led his team to the Final Four, was a member of Indiana's
Top 40 Workout, and earned a scholarship to Valparaiso University.
During his college career, Sexson was a member of the 1999 Mid-Con Conference regular season and tournament
championship team that earned a trip to the NCAA tournament before transferring to Purdue University Calumet.
At PUC Sexson was an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention in 2002. Sexson was also named to the Chicagoland
Collegiate Athletic All-Conference team twice and is the schools career leader in three-point field goals and career points per game.
Sexson graduated from Purdue University Calumet in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication.

Kevin Lenz enters his fifth year as assistant coach for the Crimson Wave, after serving as the head varsity basketball coach at Whiting High School. Prior to his services at Whiting, Lenz was the head basketball coach at Indiana University-Northwest.
Lenz was a 4 year letter winner at DePauw University, playing in 2 NCAA Division III tournaments. His 1987-1988 team held the #1 ranking in NCAA Division III for most of the season. As a senior, Lenz led his team in rebounding and blocked shots.
Lenz, who flourishes in the role of player development, will work with the Crimson Wave post players, and oversee all other aspects of the basketball program. His knowledge and experience in the game of basketball will be a valuable asset to the Crimson Wave program.
Lenz holds a degree in Education from DePauw University.

Chris Artis enters his 8th season as an assistant coach for the Crimson Wave. Prior to joining the Wave, Artis was the Head Basketball Coach of the Albury/Wodonna CTC Bandits of the Australian professional league.
Artis had a standout career at Valparaiso University and was a 2nd team All-Mid Con-Conference in 1997 before enjoying a successful professional career in Norway, France, and Uruguay.
Artis responsibilities for the Crimson Wave include day-to-day operations in the areas of scouting, practice, game preparation. Artis, who has a keen eye for talent, will also assist in recruiting and player development.
Artis graduated with a degree in Education from Valparaiso University.

Dan Koutsis begins his first year as an assistant coach at Calumet College of St. Joseph. Dan was previously at Chicago Kenwood Academy from 2006-2010 serving in a variety of capacities to aid the programs development. During his tenure at Kenwood, Koutsis was an integral part of two most successful teams in Kenwood’s 40 year history. In 2008 Kenwood won its first regional championship in school history. Serving as Associate Head Coach in 2009 Kenwood made its first trip to the Chicago Public League Sweet 16 and won a second regional championship. Coach Koutsis graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Dan completed his Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling in 2006 from Northern Illinois University. Dan has worked as a school counselor at the middle and high school level for the Chicago Public Schools. Dan recently earned his Professional Counselor License, allowing him to practice counseling in clinical settings. Dan will focus on practice planning and instruction, scouting/game preparation, and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the program.

Matt O'Grady enters his fifth season as Head Manager of the Crimson Wave.
Prior to joining the Wave, O'Grady served as manager for Griffith High School.
He brings over 7 years of experience and is an essential part to the success of
the Crimson Wave basketball program.
