Steve Cavazos enters his sixth season as head coach of the Crimson Wave men and women’s tennis programs.  Cavazos is an alumnus of Calumet College of St. Joseph earning a B.A. in General Studies.

Cavazos started with the Crimson Wave as assistant coach in the 2006-2007 seasons before taking over the program.  Cavazos is a member of the Professional Tennis Registry with a Professional rating.

During his tenure with the Crimson Wave Cavazos has had seven players named NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athletes, and four players named to the CCAC All-Academic Team.
