Randy Vania will enter his third season as head coach of the Crimson Wave women’s bowling program.   Vania started his collegiate coaching career as an assistant coach for the Crimson Wave men’s bowling team.  While assistant the Crimson Wave men were 2010 USBC ITC national runners-up.

Coach Vania was a PBA member from 1983-1993 and cashed in several PBA tournaments, and has six sanctioned 300 games and four sanctioned 800 series under his belt.

During his tenure as head coach of the Crimson Wave women’s bowling program the ladies have finished in the top ten in 13 times and were USBC ITC National Qualifiers during the 2011-2012 season.  Vania has had two singles qualify for the USBC ISC along with 8 student athletes being named to the NCBCA All-Academic Team.
