Coach Washington is a graduate of Lew Wallace H.S. in Gary, IN. and is
currently completeing his B.A. in History at Purdue University Calumet.
He returns for his second season with the Crimson Wave bowling program
and brings his professional bowling expertise to the collegiate ranks.
A current member of the Professional Bowling Association Regional Tour,
coach Washington currently serves as General Manager for Stardust Bowl
I in Hammond, IN which serves as the practice facility for the women's
team. This experience brings an advantage to the Crimson Wave program
as he prepares his team in advance for upcoming meets at different bowling
centers with his knowledge of oil patterns and lane surfaces.
He is entering his seventh year as a coach for Lake Central High School
and is a certified United States Bowling Congress Level I coach. During
his time at Lake Central his teams have won two Indiana State Team Titles
(2003, 2007), two Semi-State Titles (2004,2005), and 11 other titles at various levels.
