Men’s Tennis Ends Season in CCAC Tournament

4/25/12 – The Crimson Wave men’s tennis team ended their season tonight in the opening round of the CCAC Men’s Tennis Conference Tournament.   The Crimson Wave men faced cross town rival Purdue University Calumet who hosted CCSJ at Match Point Tennis Club in Griffith, IN.

The Crimson Wave were defeated 8-1 in the match.  Stephen McClain grabbed CCSJ’s only win 6-3 and 6-0 over PUC’s Jeff Stooksbury.

The Crimson Wave ended their season 1-6 overall.

Men’s Tennis Takes Loss to PUC

4/15/12 – The Crimson Wave men’s tennis team took a loss to CCAC opponent Purdue University Calumet, 9-0, on the road.  The match was held at Andrean High School.

The Crimson Wave will be back in action on April 18th at Olivet Nazarene University for a 1:00 pm match. 

Men’s Tennis Takes Win Over Roosevelt
              

4/4/12 – The Crimson Wave men’s tennis team took a 6-1 win over conference opponent Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL.

Stephen McClain and Luis Haro opened the day with an 8-1 win in the doubles followed by another CCSJ doubles win by Tomasz Pieperzycki and Andrew Smith 8-1. 

McClain grabbed his singles win 6-3 and 6-1 over the Lakers Bill Huyah while teammate Luis Haro won 6-0 and 6-0 over Austin Earseley.  Pieperzycki won in three over John Imperato, 6-3, 5-7, and 10-6.  Smith rounded out the day with a 6-0 and 6-0 win over Dan White.

The Crimson Wave will be back in action on April 14th at home against Judson University.
