(10/27/07)Women's Volleyball Crimson Wave Invite
The Crimson Wave women's volleyball team hosted their inaugural Crimson Wave Invite today. The women lost all three matches to Dominican University, Urbana University, and Goshen College. The women lost each match 3 games to zero. Goshen College won the invitational going 3-0 on the day.

The Crimson Wave men's soccer team ended their season today with a 3-1 loss to Robert Morris College. The men ended their season 4-13 overall and 2-7 in coference.
(10/20/07)2007 XC Championships
The Crimson Wave men and women's cross country teams competed in the inaugral CCAC Championship. The men's team finished 7th overall. The men's Richard Gutierrez finished 14th with a time of 27:40, Brian Bowman followed finishing 52nd with a 31:31.50, Louie Guillen 59th 34:19, Kevin Patterson 60th 34:35.30, and Billy Burk 61st 36:52.20. The women's Jill Labella finished 58th at 26:35.40.
(10/16/07)Men's Golf at Region 7 Championships
The Crimson Wave men's golf team returned home tonight from the NAIA Region 7 Championships in Galena, IL. The men finished 13th overall out of 13 teams. Leading the Wave was Ryan Alberson finishing with 91 yesterday and 86 today.

The Crimson Wave men's soccer team was defeated tonight by St. Xavier University 1-0. Federico Villasenor had 7 saves for the Wave. The men's record is now 4-12. Their next game will be Saturday October 20th at Robert Morris University.

The Crimson Wave women's volleyball team was defeated by Trinity Christian College tonight 3 games to 0 (26-30, 25-30, 15-30). The women's record is now 2-29. The women's next game will be Wednesday October 17th at home at 7:00 pm against Kankakee Community College.

The Crimson Wave women's volleyball team traveled to the St. Ambrose University Invite this weekend in Davenpor, IA. The ladies lost both matches on Saturday to St. Ambrose University and Concordia University. Jessica Banke had 15 kills on the day.
(10/12/07)Men's Soccer Defeats Stritch in Overtime
The Crimson Wave men's soccer team defeated Cardinal Stritch University tonight 1-0 in overtime. The game was locked at zeros until the 99th minute when Ryan Fentress knocked in the game winning goal off a cornerkick from Danny Zaragoza. Federico Villasenor had 6 saves in goal. This was the Waves second overtime win this season. The men's record has now improved to 4-11 overall and 2-5 in conference. The men's next game will be Tuesday October 16th at home against conference oppenent St. Xavier Unviersity. The game will start at 3:00 pm.

The Crimson Wave women's soccer team was defeated today by Cardinal Stritch University 6-0. Jamie Pittman had 15 saves for the Wave. Tonight was the last home game for seniors Jorie Arnold (Crown Point HS), Stephanie Butler (Portage HS), Anne Kvarta (Highland HS) and Vanessa Escobedo (EC Central HS). The women's record is now 0-16.

The Crimson Wave women's tennis team was defeated tonight by the University of St. Francis 8-1. The ladies will compete at the conference tournament Friday and Saturday October 19-20.

The Crimson Wave men's soccer team was defeated tonight by Trinity Christian College 1-0. Federico Villasenor (EC Central HS) had 6 saves for the Wave. The men's record is now 3-11. Their next game will be Friday October 12 at home against conference oppenent Cardinal Stritch, the game will start at 3:00 pm.
(10/7/07)Baseball Repeats as Wooden Bat Classic Champion
The Crimson Wave baseball team defeated Robert Morris College for the second year in a row to win back to back Hoosier Fall Wooden Bat Classic Championships. The Wave knocked off Morris 3-1 with 5 hits on the night. The Wave's Justin Rogers took home the Classic's MVP Award.

Crimson Wave women's golfer Kari Campbell (Portage HS) finished day one with an 84 at the NAIA Region 7 Championship in Lockport, IL today.
(10/6/07)Cross Country at Benedictine Invitational
The Crimson Wave cross country teams competed at the Benedictine Invitational yesterday in Lisle, IL. The men finished 15th overall with Richard Guttierez finishing 15th with a time of 28:43.5. Jill Labella finished 93rd overall for the women with a time of 34:50.9.

The Crimson Wave men's soccer team was defeated by conference opponent Judson University tonight 6-0. Federico Villasenor had nine save for the Wave. The men's record is now 3-10. They will play their next match against conference opponent Trinity Christian College on Wednesday October 10 at home at 3:00 pm.

The Crimson Wave women's volleyball team traveled to the Ashford University Invite Friday and Saturday. The Wave was defeated by Clarke College and Ashford University each three games to zero. Jessica Banke had 4 kills, Stephanie Zimny 7 kills and Kate Delaney 28 assists on the day.
Day two brought two more losses for the Wave, Mount Mercy College and William Penn University each 3 games to zero. Jessica Banke had 16 kills for the Wave in two matches. The ladies record is now 2-24.

The Crimson Wave women's soccer team fell short tonight to the University of St. Francis 1-0. Christina Elizalde (Clark HS) had 7 saves for the Wave. The ladies record is now 0-13.
(10/2/07)Men's Soccer Defeats St. Francis
The Crimson Wave men's soccer team defeated the University of St. Francis tonight 3-2 in double overtime. The Crimson Wave trailed by 2 at halftime. The second half brought back to back goals from Ryan Fentress Griffith HS). Miguel Diaz (EC Central HS) ended the second overtime with a goal in the 108th minute off a pass from Federico Villasenor (EC Central HS). Tommy Mis (Highland HS) also had one assist. Nick (Crown Point HS) ended the night with 6 saves. The men's record is now 3-9 overall and 1-3 in conference.

Crimson Wave women's volleyball team was defeated by Robert Morris College three games to one (14-30, 16-30, 17-30). Jessica Banke and Stephanie Zimny each had five kills for the Wave. Kate Delaney ended the evening with eight assists. The women's record is now 2-20.
