Women's Soccer Takes First Conferenc Win of the Season Over Roosevelt
9/21/12 - The Crimson Wave women's soccer team grabbed their first conference win of the season today with a victory over Roosevelt University at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL.
Patty Diaz scored the first Crimson Wave goal of the game in the 64th minute of play when
Sandra Narvaez sent a thru ball down the middle to Diaz who tucked it away in the left corner of the goal.
Eleven minutes later
Cory Vega took a cross pass from Narvaez and connected with the back post for a 2-0 Crimson Wave victory.
Amy Gasiorowski had three saves for the Crimson Wave. CCSJ took 12 shots on goal while Roosevelt only took five.
The ladies will be back in action on Wednesday September 26th when they travel to Cardinal Stritch University for a 7:00 pm CCAC match up..
