Crimson Wave head track and field coach Kevin Paterson has announced the signing of Munster High School track and field star Carrie Boelt to a national letter of intent to continue her athletic and academic careers at Calumet College of St. Joseph.

Carrie brings her many accomplishments to a very young and talented Crimson Wave track and field team and looks to make a big impact in the CCAC conference. Carrie’s main event will be the high jump, but will also compete in the sprints and relay event. Carrie plans on majoring in elementary education.

Coach Paterson on Carrie “I couldn’t be more excited to bring in such a talented athlete like Carrie. She is going to make an impact at the conference level right away. Carrie comes from a wonderful family and with her charter and work ethic she will fit right in with the group of girls. I am very excited to see Carrie grow as a student athlete over the next 4 years.”
