Crimson Wave head men’s soccer coach Justin Olson has announced the signing of Elk Grove High School soccer standout Guillermo Anaya to a national letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic careers at Calumet College of St. Joseph. While attending Elk Grove, Guillermo was captain of his team. He was also All Conference for defending.

Guillermo brings a lot of talent to the defensive group for the Crimson Wave. His decision making, patience, and aggressiveness will be of great value to the back line of CCSJ.

Guillermo will major in Business Finance while attending CCSJ.

“Guillermo came to our ID Camp we hosted after our season. We really liked his energy on the field and his patience in the back. Guillermo does a good job of breaking down his opponent in 1v1 situations. We have some big shoes to fill on defense and we are excited for Guillermo to step in and compete with the rest of our group. Guillermo will make our team better and I look forward to watching him develop.” Said Head Coach Justin Olson.
