Crimson Wave head cross country and track and field coach Kevin Paterson has announced the signing of Hobart High School standout Logan Allen to a national letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic career at Calumet College of St Joseph.

Logan was coached by the legendary Jim Johnston who was inducted into the IATCCC hall of fame in 2010. Logan is the brother of Justin Allen who was a standout runner for both Hobart High School and Wabash College.

Coach Paterson on Logan “We get one of the states best pole vaulters signing Logan he has a personal record of 14-0 which will help him compete for a conference championship right away. Logan comes from a terrific family that I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know over the past 5 or 6 years and I couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to be Logan’s coach. I truly feel that he will become of the CCAC and NAIA top vaulters over the next 4 years.”
