Crimson Wave head volleyball coach Stephanie Zimny has announced the signing of South Suburban Community College transfer and volleyball standout Rachel Eizenga to a national letter of intent to continue her athletic and academic careers at Calumet College of St Joseph.

Rachel will make a great addition to a strong returning core for the Crimson Wave.  Rachel knows how to win and shows it in her play.   She is coming off a very successful season at SSCC.   Rachel’s ability to run an offense will be a great asset for the Crimson Wave next season.  Her ability to hit as well makes her a threat at the net.

“I am very excited to add Rachel to our program. She comes with experience and knowledge of the game. She will quarterback our offense nicely as well as have the opportunity to hit on the right side.”  Said Head Coach Stephanie Zimny
