The Crimson Wave women's volleyball team is excited to announce the signing of Hayley Mavrick to the 2014-2015 recruiting class. Hayley will be joining Calumet College of St. Joseph after two seasons at Ancilla College. Hayley will be a defensive specialist and libero for CCSJ.

"I am from Kokomo, Indiana where sports have always been a big part of my family. I am very excited to continue my volleyball career at CCSJ and my family has been very supportive. I chose Calumet College of St. Joseph because I really like the curriculum. I also had an instant bond with the team and Coach Zimny," said Hayley on why she joined CCSJ. "I really want to do well in the classroom while becoming All-Conference and being at the top in stats," added Haley.

Hayley found success at Ancilla College where she was All-Freshman NJCAA and All-Conference Honorable Mention her first year there. As a sophomore, Hayley received All-Conference Honorable Mention for the second year in a row.

"I am so excited that Hayley has joined the Crimson Wave family. Hayley will continue her athletic and academic career here at CCSJ. She is a great player that will bring both skill and knowledge to our back row and our defense. She had a wonderful JUCO career and I can't wait for her to not only have individual success at the NAIA level, but help to make our team successful these next two seasons. She is a great kid with a great family, and definitely someone you want in your program," said Coach Zimny.

While attending CCSJ, Haley will major in Elementary Education where she hopes to become a teacher and coach. /p>
