The Calumet College of Saint Joseph men's basketball team is pleased to announce the signing of Julian Snowden. The Chicago, Illinois standout becomes the second member of the 2014 recruiting class.

Snowden was a member of the Curie Metro High School team that finished 18-8 and a perfect 9-0 in the Chicago Public Leagues Red Division. Snowden was also a member of the Illinois Old School AAU program where he was named the Standout Player of the Hoosier Jam Fest.

"The 6'2" guard from Curie displays good quickness on his first step and can attack the hoop. Once he establishes his presence getting in the paint he can really make threes," says Scott Burgess of Chicagohoops247.com. "We are thrilled to add Julian to our basketball program," said head coach Ryan Sexson. "Julian is a player that has great athleticism and a lot of upside. He is a really good shooter and has a unique skill-set around the basket. More importantly, Julian is a good student and a high character kid that will fit in well with the culture of our basketball program."

Snowden plans to major in Business Management and Marketing here at CCSJ.
