
The Calumet College of St. Joseph Athletic Training/Sports Medicine team is committed to delivering the highest quality health care to all of its student athletes. The services include, but are not limited to, injury prevention, management of athletic injuries, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The Athletic Training Program will educate the athletes on their injuries to hopefully prevent further injury in the future. Equipment will be used to assist in the rehabilitation of an athletic injury when it is deemed necessary, cost effective, and can be completed in a timely manner. Also, sports medicine physicians who are affiliated with Calumet College of St. Joseph will be used when a second opinion is needed, or further action is necessary. The Athletic Training Program will continue to be on the cutting edge of medicine by the continual education of its staff members in order to utilize the current knowledge, research, and resources in the management of athletic injuries. The Athletic Training Program will continually pursue state of the art and quality Athletic Training facilities, equipment and supplies. It is the goal of the Calumet College of St. Joseph Athletic Training Department to fulfill the overall ethics and mission of Calumet College of St. Joseph.
The Calumet College of St. Joseph Athletic Training Program shall provide prevention, care, rehabilitation and education of athletic injury, of the highest quality, in keeping with the established standards of the profession of Athletic Training, to the student athletes of Calumet College of St. Joseph. Calumet College of St. Joseph is committed to becoming a leader in athletic training services among the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and NAIA colleges and universities.
