Women's Cross Country

Women’s Cross Country Grabs 9th at CCAC

11/5/11 – The Crimson Wave men’s cross country team finished 9th overall today at the CCAC Conference Championships hosted by Olivet Nazarene University. 

Miriam Guerrero took the lead for the Crimson Wave taking a 52nd place finish running 24:46.63.  Natalia Cazares finished 108th while Tisa Carter finished 165th.  Cassie Mills and Ta-Tiarria Essex finished 223rd and 282nd respectively.

This was the last meet of the season for the Crimson Wave women’s Cross Country Team.   

Cross Country Competes at the Great Lakes Challenge

10/22/11 – The Crimson Wave men and women’s cross country teams traveled to Grand Rapids, MI this weekend for the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge hosted by Aquinas College.

The Crimson Wave men were led by Phil Strader’s 253rd place finish in a time of 30:05.7 while Thomas Manyek finished 311th (33:00.7) with Tom Moore finishing 325th (38:56.28). 

The Crimson Wave women were led by Miriam Guerrero who finished 306th in 23:56.04.  Ta-Tiarra Essex finished 337th (33:54.18).

The Crimson Wave cross country teams will compete in the CCAC conference championship on November 5th.

Ladies Compete Well at Lucian Rosa

10/8/11 – The Crimson Wave women’s Cross Country team traveled to the Lucian Rosa Invitational at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside in Kenosha, WI.

The Crimson Wave were led by Miriam Guerrero’s 71st place finish (24:39.8).   Lydia Aceviz finished 92nd (30:43.7) along with a 93rd place (30:47.3) finish by Chabria Survillion. 

The Crimson Wave will next compete at the Great Lakes Challenge on October 22nd.
