Contractual Agreement

I _____________________ agree to tutor the  ________ semester for Calumet College of St. Joseph.  For my time, I will receive a tuition discount equivalent to $8/hour for each hour of tutoring that I work.  This amount will be applied to my account in the semester shown on my Request for the Tuition Discount Application.

I agree to: 

1. Tutor for  _______ hours.

2. Be prepared for sessions with students.

3. Tutor in the Center for Academic Excellence unless approved by the Director of the Center for Academic Excellence.

4. Submit all signed log sheets and Tutorial Records to the Director of the Center for Academic Excellence (reimbursement is based on this documentation).

5. Participate in all in-service tutor training.

Other Requirements:

1. Maintain a minimum of 3.5 in the course(s) I wish to tutor (course must have been taken at CCSJ).

2. Maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA

Calumet College of St. Joseph agrees to the e following:

1. Discount my tuition at the rate of $8 per every hour I tutor.

2. Provide tutors with necessary textbooks.

3. Provide a study area in which students can be tutored.

4. Provide tutors with on-going training

Tutor’s failure to comply with the terms of this contract may result in termination.
