The Center for Academic Excellence is looking for students who want to tutor others. The job requires that tutors have a 3.5 GPA in the subject they wish to tutor in and maintain a 3.0 overall GPA. In addition to be knowledgeable in subject matter, tutors must have good affective skills: the ability to listen and be supportive.

PAY
Tutors are paid by “tuition discount.” For every hour of tutoring services, students receive one hour of tuition discount that is applied to your college tuition costs. At this time, this discount equates to over $9/hr.
