Apply for Financial Aid

Too many students worry, before they have even begun the financial aid application process, that they cannot afford college. The earlier you apply for financial aid, the sooner Calumet College of St. Joseph can send you a financial aid package. For many students, their financial aid package will help them decide which college to attend. Keep in mind that besides your CCSJ financial aid package, we offer the lowest tuition of any private four-year college in the state of Indiana.

The financial aid application process:

  • Fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For full consideration of all forms of financial aid available, file the FAFSA by the CCSJ priority deadline of March 1 of the year preceding your entrance into college. Click Here to watch a video on how to complete the FAFSA.
  • Future Students: Fill out an online application for admission and submit your transcripts to the CCSJ Office of Admissions and Adult Programs to make sure that you are admitted to the College. You will not receive a financial aid package from the Office of Financial Aid unless you have been admitted. Once admitted, you are immediately considered for all institutional grants and scholarships offered by CCSJ.

Once you have received your financial aid package from Calumet College of St. Joseph, you may find that you qualify for a student loan. If you would like to accept all or part of a loan offered to you, you must complete the loan application. Please note: first-time borrowers must follow the links on the loan application to complete loan entrance counseling and a promissory note.
