The William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund was created in the
fall of 2002 to help underserved students succeed at the college level.
Northwest Indiana has been a region that has passed through economic crises
and has seen population decreases in the last few decades. The Hearst
Fund, then, will have a significant impact on the lives of deserving students
in Northwest Indiana.
