How to use E-Resources from off campus

If you are a Calumet College of St. Joseph student, facutly or staff member, you may access our electronic resources from off campus. Alumni and community users may only use the electronic resources from within the library.

How it works:

1. When a user attempts to access a subscription database or other electronic holdings from off campus, they are redirected to a login screen.

Ezproxy Login Screen

2. In order to login, you will be required to input your last name and CCSJ ID number as it appears on your card. Including all those leading zero's!

The image below has an arrow pointing to the number you need. This is an excellent reason to get your student ID card!

3. Once you have entered your information, you will be brought to the electronic resource you had requested access to.

Some hints:

  • If you have a space in your last name, do not use it.
    • "Van Gogh" should be entered as "vangogh"
  • Make sure you are using the name you are registered under at the college, such as:
    • Maiden names
    • Hyphenated names
  • Remember to use your entire ID number!

If you have tried all that and are still experiencing difficulties, please call the library at 219-473-4373.
