PLEASE READ AND COMPLETE ALL STEPS. YOUR LOAN WILL NOT BE PROCESSED
UNLESS ALL STEPS ARE COMPLETED ACCURATELY.
| Federal Direct Lending |
| Beginning with the 2009-2010 financial aid award year, Calumet College of St. Joseph now processes all Stafford Student Loans through Federal Direct Lending. In the Direct Lending process, all loan funds come directly from the federal government, not from a bank or other lending entity. There is no difference in loan amounts/maximums through Direct Lending. Also, if you have previously borrowed student loans from a bank or other lending entity, you will be able to consolidate your loans upon entering into repayment either through the Direct Lending program or through a private lender. |
