Discipline.  Commitment.  Team Spirit.  Do you have what it takes?

Mission Statement
As members of the CCSJ rowing club, we learn to row, practice on Wolf Lake, maintain our equipment, work out and make healthy lifestyle choices to better ourselves, and compete against other clubs and colleges.

Rowing is a physically demanding sport, as well as the ultimate team sport.  Rowers must be committed to attending practices, working out, and staying healthy.  No experience is necessary, but you must be able to swim.  Practices take place at the Illiana Yacht Club on Wolf Lake.  Before you get into the boat, you must learn the basic form of the rowing stroke on the rowing machine in the weight room, under the supervision of the club advisor.

2011-2012 Winter Training
We will work out as a team together on selected Saturday mornings, starting October 29.
Rowers erg on their own at least twice a week.
Additional activities TBD.  Contact Dr. Crist.

Destinee Reyes - club president and captain of the women's crew.
Antonio Salgado - club vice president and captain of the men's crew.

Advisor: Dr. Joan Crist
