Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc (ΑΦΑ) is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-Americans. Alpha Phi Alpha was founded on December 4th, 1906 at the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of Brotherhood among African descendants in this country. Since then the fraternity has open its door to all ethnicities and continues to uphold its Aims; Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind.
Mission Statement: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
