Peer mentoring is coordinated through Student Support Services. Mentors are matched with new students in an effort to provide links for academic, social and personal success.

The mentor’s role is to serve as a guide, counselor and supporter. The program provides training of the mentors in areas such as student leadership, team building, study skills and time management.

The peer mentors present study skills workshops to the student body each semester. Social activities for mentors and new students are also scheduled through the Office of Student Support Services.
