How to Become a Tutor

Tutors are asked to:

1. Tutor throughout the entire duration of the semester.

2. Maintain a strict level of confidence regarding personal situations that another student may disclose.

3. Attend all training sessions.

4. Correspond via e-mail with the Coordinator.

5. Be prepared for sessions with students.

6. Maintain a 2.75 G.P.A.

7. Tutor on campus unless approved by the Coordinator.

8. Participate in CCSJ planned activities.

9. Submit all written and signed log sheets to the Tutoring Center.  Credit hours awarded will be based on the information received on log sheets.
