Alumni Association combats flu season with complimentary flu shots.
Last year, flu season struck Calumet College of St. Joseph hard. Between sore throats, stuffy noses, and snow days, it seems like more days were spent at home in bed than in the classroom for many students. Students weren’t alone either; faculty and staff also succumb to the wiles of influenza A (H3N2).
Thanks to the CCSJ Alumni Association and Walgreens, this flu season will be different. They have teamed up to help the entire college combat sickness with free flu shots. Anyone who is a registered student, adjunct faculty member, or a contract employee is welcome.
Flu shots will be administered on Tuesday, October 13th in Room 203 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Here’s to a healthy and happy flu-free season!
