Friday, Nov. 30th – Whiting’s Annual Illuminated

Christmas Parade

Join the CCSJ Family as we participate in the annual Christmas Parade.
Line-up is at119th St. & Davis Avenue in front of Clark High School and begins at 6:00 pm. Parade steps off at 7:00 and will go down 119th St. to New York Avenue. President McCormack may even bring her adorable dog again! Contact Linda Gajewski if your group would like to participate, just so we have an idea as to how large our group will be. We hope everyone can join in the fun! The city will light their tree immediately following the parade at City Hall.
Let the season begin!


Saturday, Dec. 1 – Fundraiser for Gimme Shelter at CCSJ sponsored by GIVE here at CCSJ.

Saturday, Dec. 8 – Pictures with Santa at the Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce – 10:00-3:00 – 1417-119th St.

Make it a year you won’t forget with your pictures with Santa! Bring the kids, your spouse or pets (on a leash please!). Pictures are $10 and not only will you receive them right away, but they will email you the picture for your own use. This is a very popular event so don’t wait until the last minute!

Saturday, Dec. 8 – Small Town Christmas – 119th St.

Enjoy a ‘Small Town Christmas’ in Downtown Whiting! It is packed with holiday, family fun including live reindeer in front of Whiting City Hall from 12pm – 2pm, photos with Santa at the W/R Chamber from 10am – 3pm, the 2018 Hot Cocoa / Cider Tour from 11am – 3pm at participating businesses, and Breakfast with Mrs. Claus at Winey Beach Cafe from 9am – 12pm (reservations required). Join the fun put yourself in that holiday spirit!


Saturday, Dec. 8 – 60’s, 70’s, 80’s Music Fest – Knights of Columbus
119th St. & Atchison Avenue – 8:00 pm – midnight.
Admission is $5
Family-friendly event. All ages welcome!

Break out those dancing shoes and return to the days of some great music!
$2 beers, and $3 mixed drinks.
