College Explorers: Mindfulness & Sports


Grades 3-5: June 17-21
Grades 6-8: June 24-28

Mindfulness & Sports camp returns! In partnership with Maroon Village, elementary and middle school students can attend this free one-week camp where they will learn foundational skills for sports along with mindfulness practices to help them meet obstacles – in sports and in life – that will promote success in both academics and athletics. Students will build skills in mindfulness, yoga, meditation and different sports, and grow in confidence and community.


  • Each session runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Camp runs for four hours a day with five sports over five days
  • Sports covered include soccer, basketball, volleyball, cross country, and football
  • Light snacks and water will be provided

Maroon Village’s mission: Is to cultivate healthy environments for student athletes to promote resiliency through performance training, yoga, mindfulness, meditation and breathwork.
