Quentin P. Smith Student Lounge

The Student Lounge is named after a member of the Tuskegee Airman 477th Composite Group and former Calumet College of St. Joseph Board of Trustees member, Quentin P. Smith. He was a long-time educator of Gary Public Schools where he served as teacher, guidance counselor, Principal of Roosevelt Junior High School, the first principal of Westside High School. In 2007, he received a Congressional Gold Medal as a member of the Tuskegee Airmen. Quentin P. Smith devoted his life to service, education and community.
