College Explorers: Summer Theatre

Registration Opens December 15
Grades 7-12
June 22-26

Fundamentals of theatre, both production and performance.

Daily from 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Summer Theatre provides an opportunity for 7th-12th graders to explore famous characters and plays with trained theatre educators. This one-week camp will focus on theatre games, acting, rehearsal, theatrical production, and a showcase for family and friends on Friday night. Campers will get some hands-on experience with trained volunteers.  No prior theatre experience is needed. Summer Theatre is the perfect summer camp to enhance public speaking skills, build confidence, make new friends, and have a whole lot of fun!

NOTE: Tekton Media Camp (9a to 1p) and Summer Theatre (1:30p to 6:30p) are intentionally scheduled back-to-back to give families flexible full-day options. Campers enrolled in both programs will enjoy activities and supervision between sessions, receive a snack, and be escorted by staff from one camp to the next so families don’t need to manage midday pickup or drop-off.
